Boudreaux's Butt Paste

While the name itself is quite odd and can't be said without a suppressed giggle, this stuff is actually quite fantastic! Just to clarify what exactly this product is, it is a diaper rash ointment.

I thought I would give this stuff a thorough test so I put some on my daughters bum. She doesn't have diaper rash at the moment, nevertheless I was surprised when I changed her again a few hours later. The paste was gone and didn't leave any resedue behind. No oily, chalky or sticky spots, but I did notice that her skin, which was a bit dry there before was moisturized. The slight redness it had earlier was gone.

I also noticed right when I opened the tube of paste that it had a pleasant smell, something like vanilla but nothing chemically like most ointments have.

I have to say that if this stuff ever runs out (it is a conveniently small tube but the paste is quite thick and should last a while) I will buy another tube, just in case my babies need it.
