8 Months old

Parker is 8 months old. Lately he has been sleeping better and he loves sweet potato baby food. I love this little boy!!

Chicago Day 1

Jesse had a writing conference in Chicago last weekend and I tagged along. I was excited to see Chicago since I had never been but I was also excited to get some me time(I took Parker with me of course), and my sister Kristin took my girls which I owe her big time for doing so. Thanks Kristin!

Thursday-

Parkers first flight!

Cool toilet at the airport in Chicago. The lid would rotate and the plastic would be replaced.

Parkers bed at the hotel, he wouldn't sleep in it at all though.


I was pretty tired from the flight so I took a nap then we went out to dinner. We had to use a taxi to go anywhere and I just have to say that taxi drivers are CRAZY!! I feared my life every time getting in one of those...

Here are my previous birthday pictures. I didn't have one when I turned 21 so that picture is just around my birthday sometime.

It's my birthday...

And I will cry if I want to!! I have turned the big 24 today. Not sure how I feel about it. I feel like its old when it really isn't. Most people my age are just now getting married. I have already been married for over 5 years and have 3 kids! Kids definitely take a toll on your body. I very much miss the energy I had before having kids, will it ever come back or will it just get worse? Other then time going by so fast, I am happy with my life right now. Could it be better? Maybe. Could it get worse? For sure! I know I have been blessed. I have great kids and an AWESOME husband. What did I do to deserve so many blessings? I am grateful everyday.
