RSV

Long story short, I got sick, then Lacee got sick...She looked really out of it and I was worried so we took her into the ER. She tested positive for RSV, she had a fever, and her oxygen was in the low 90%. For some reason they sent us home and told us to count her breaths per minute and if she gets worse to bring her back in. By the next morning looked much worse and was breathing about 60 breaths per minute which is high. We took her back in and stayed 2 nights in the hospital. They kept her on oxygen and monitored her. At one point in the middle of the night I felt her and she felt like she had a fever...we paged the nurse to bring some Tylenol...45 min later she was burning up, I went to the nurses station and there was nobody...another hour and 15 minutes later they finally came...by then her temp was almost 104 degrees! I was mad but didn't say anything cause I could tell the guy felt bad.

Anyways, the second day there our dr checked Lacee and said she looks better but he wanted us to stay another night...we thought she would be better at home so he sent us home with oxygen which she was on for 6 days at home. She is doing much better now, pretty much her old self. Here are a few pictures and videos of her as she gets better. I didn't take any video's when she was at her worst cause it was just too sad.

This was after they sent us home the first time.

Don't worry, she is just sleeping in this one...

At home still not feeling good...

I hate RSV! You're lucky that you got to bring her home with the oxygen, could you imagine staying in the hospital those 6 extra days? I'm glad she is back to normal now.
